I'm going to run down Luke's direct download links and try that. GordonHi Gordon, while there may have been a pending WU I have my Win10 setup to only install them in the middle of the night so I don't believe that a concurrent WU and BDS install was the issue. So I now consider that demo download to be as suspect as TURD. If they are gimping it that way they could easily break it in other ways too, even unintentionally. One thing I discovered recently is that the Demo download is completely different from the other downloads, in that you can not create a deployment. My deployments have been built with a mixture of subscription portal downloads (so I can get my Suites installer), AVA downloads (for testing things that aren't in my Suite) and What Revit Wants direct links (for when ADSK is just behind) for years, with no problems. I also don't trust TURD (Totally Useless Redundant Downloader, AKA Desktop App) at all. I actually disable WU for the duration of the deployment install to avoid the issue. I have seen an Autodesk install fail because Windows Update actually installs an update in the middle of the deployment install.
